Our Team
Marie
Marie is the Director and owner of Eko Designs Ivanhoe.
She is an accomplished hair stylist with more than 25 years of experience. When Marie is not on the salon floor cutting and colouring hair, she can be found in a bridal room, somewhere in Melbourne or all over the world, styling hair for brides and bridesmaids. Marie is known best for her creative and designs work of special occasions hairstyling. Marie leads Eko Elite and has a team of make up artists to complement her styling business. Make a booking for your upcoming wedding. You won’t be disappointed.
She has trained with leading hairstylist of Australia such as Lorna Evans Natalie Anne, Ella Bridal and Sharon Blain.
Julie
Julie is our senior creative.
We all agree that Julie is part of the furniture. She has firmly established herself as an important committed staff member of Eko Designs. Julie remains loyal to her long list of clients who she has been looking after year after year. Clients say she is part of their family. Her love for hairdressing, her nurturing and caring personality is what makes Julie not only an exceptional Hairdresser, but a loving friend you visit regularly. For that old school Hollywood set, volume perm or razor cut, Julie is a master at her craft!
You may have to wait a little to secure an appointment with Julie but it’s well worth it when you are finally sitting in that chair.
Stephanie
Stephanie is our youngest and most vibrant latest recruit. She brings funky fun and innovative creative designs to Eko.
After completing her apprenticeship, Steph worked in an inner city salon of Port Melbourne where her famous Balayage techniques were accelerated. She has participated in Hair shows and competitions as well as completed advanced colour courses by some of the leading colourists in Australia and around the world.
If it’s a super soft sun-kissed colour or the latest supermodel champagne blondes, whether it be foils or balayage, Steph’s your girl.
Oh and did I forget to mention her twisty blow waves? They are simply the BEST!!!
